A DUTY PASS is issued for journeys performed on railway duty. It is charged to the working expenses and does not touch the employee's privilege entitlement at all.ड्यूटी पास रेल ड्यूटी पर की गई यात्राओं हेतु जारी होता है। यह कार्यकारी व्यय पर भारित होता है और कर्मचारी के विशेषाधिकार हक को बिल्कुल प्रभावित नहीं करता।

The class of Privilege Pass depends on the employee's group and pay level. Group A and Group B gazetted officers are entitled to First Class A.सुविधा पास की श्रेणी कर्मचारी के समूह और वेतन स्तर पर निर्भर करती है। समूह 'क' और समूह 'ख' राजपत्रित अधिकारी प्रथम श्रेणी 'ए' के पात्र हैं।

A RESIDENTIAL CARD PASS is for travel between the residence and the place of work, for staff who must live away from their duty point.आवासीय कार्ड पास निवास और कार्यस्थल के बीच यात्रा हेतु है, उन कर्मचारियों के लिए जिन्हें अपने ड्यूटी स्थल से दूर रहना पड़ता है।

For non-gazetted staff the entitlement is fixed by pay slabs, and those slabs have been revised by successive Pay Commissions — always check the current circular rather than an old figure.अराजपत्रित कर्मचारियों के लिए पात्रता वेतन स्लैब से तय होती है, और ये स्लैब क्रमिक वेतन आयोगों द्वारा संशोधित होते रहे हैं — पुराने आँकड़े के बजाय सदैव वर्तमान परिपत्र देखें।

The POST RETIREMENT COMPLIMENTARY PASS requires 20 YEARS of qualifying service. It is the pass a retired railway servant continues to draw, and its class follows the pay level held at retirement.सेवानिवृत्ति उपरांत मानार्थ पास के लिए 20 वर्ष की अर्हक सेवा आवश्यक है। यही वह पास है जो सेवानिवृत्त रेल सेवक आगे भी लेता रहता है, और इसकी श्रेणी सेवानिवृत्ति के समय के वेतन स्तर के अनुसार होती है।

A WIDOW PASS is granted to the widow of a railway servant. Where the servant dies in service the qualifying-service condition is relaxed, so the family is not left without travel.विधवा पास रेल सेवक की विधवा को दिया जाता है। जहाँ सेवक की सेवाकाल में मृत्यु हो जाए वहाँ अर्हक सेवा की शर्त शिथिल कर दी जाती है, ताकि परिवार यात्रा से वंचित न रहे।

METAL PASSESधातु पास
bronze, silver and gold — are the highest passes on the Railways, issued to officers of specified seniority and to retired Members of the Railway Board. Remember the three metals; the order of seniority is asked directly.कांस्य, रजत और स्वर्ण — रेलवे के सर्वोच्च पास हैं, जो निर्दिष्ट वरिष्ठता के अधिकारियों तथा रेलवे बोर्ड के सेवानिवृत्त सदस्यों को जारी होते हैं। तीनों धातुएँ याद रखें; वरिष्ठता का क्रम सीधे पूछा जाता है।
