School passes are issued to each dependent student of a railway employee, on production of a bonafide certificate from the recognised institution where the student is studying away from the headquarters of the railway servant.स्कूल पास रेल कर्मचारी के प्रत्येक आश्रित छात्र को जारी किए जाते हैं, उस मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से बोनाफाइड प्रमाणपत्र प्रस्तुत करने पर जहाँ छात्र रेल सेवक के मुख्यालय से बाहर पढ़ रहा हो।

Three sets of school passes, or six half sets, are admissible for EVERY CHILD in a calendar year, and they are IN ADDITION to the privilege passes — they do not eat into the family's privilege entitlement.प्रत्येक बच्चे हेतु कैलेंडर वर्ष में तीन सेट स्कूल पास, अथवा छह अर्ध सेट, देय हैं, और ये विशेषाधिकार पासों के अतिरिक्त हैं — ये परिवार के विशेषाधिकार हक में से नहीं जाते।

Dependents receiving a stipend or merit scholarship are NOT eligible for school passes if they are above 21 years of age.छात्रवृत्ति या मेधा छात्रवृत्ति पाने वाले आश्रित 21 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के होने पर स्कूल पास के पात्र नहीं हैं।

School passes are debited to a separate head, 'ON SCHOOL ACCOUNT', which is how they are kept apart from the privilege account in the records.स्कूल पास अलग शीर्ष 'ऑन स्कूल अकाउंट' में डाले जाते हैं, इसी से अभिलेखों में इन्हें विशेषाधिकार खाते से अलग रखा जाता है।

Passes are issued between the place where the parent is residing and the school or college and back, during recognised vacations — provided the vacation is not less than THREE consecutive days — and also when the institution closes due to unforeseen circumstances.पास माता-पिता के निवास स्थान और विद्यालय/महाविद्यालय के बीच आने-जाने के लिए, मान्यता प्राप्त अवकाश के दौरान जारी होते हैं — बशर्ते अवकाश तीन लगातार दिनों से कम न हो — तथा अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में संस्थान बंद होने पर भी।

The pass covers the journey between the place where EITHER PARENT is residing and the school, and back — and only where the institution's recognised vacation is of not less than THREE CONSECUTIVE DAYS, or the institution closes unexpectedly.पास उस स्थान के बीच की यात्रा को कवर करता है जहाँ माता या पिता में से कोई रह रहा हो और विद्यालय, तथा वापसी — और केवल तब जब संस्थान की मान्यता प्राप्त छुट्टी कम से कम तीन लगातार दिनों की हो, अथवा संस्थान अप्रत्याशित रूप से बंद हो।

Three full sets or six half sets of school passes are allowed in a calendar year, and they are debited under the head 'On School Account'.एक कैलेंडर वर्ष में तीन पूर्ण सेट या छह अर्ध सेट स्कूल पास दिए जाते हैं, और इन्हें 'ऑन स्कूल अकाउंट' शीर्ष में डेबिट किया जाता है।

A student receiving a STIPEND — as distinct from a merit or means scholarship — is not eligible for a school pass once above 21 years of age. The distinction between stipend and scholarship is the point being tested.छात्रवृत्ति या साधन-आधारित छात्रवृत्ति से भिन्न, वजीफा पाने वाला छात्र 21 वर्ष की आयु से ऊपर होने पर स्कूल पास का पात्र नहीं है। वजीफे और छात्रवृत्ति के बीच का अंतर ही परखा जा रहा है।

A parent or guardian may be included in the school pass where the student is a girl of any age, or a boy under 15 years — but not above 18 years of age.स्कूल पास में माता-पिता या संरक्षक को उस स्थिति में शामिल किया जा सकता है जब छात्र किसी भी आयु की बालिका हो, या 15 वर्ष से कम आयु का बालक हो — किंतु 18 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं।

A parent or guardian may be INCLUDED in the school pass where the student is a GIRL OF ANY AGE or a BOY UNDER EIGHTEEN. If the person accompanying is an attendant rather than a guardian, only a second class pass is issued to him.जहाँ छात्र किसी भी आयु की बालिका हो अथवा अठारह वर्ष से कम का बालक, वहाँ स्कूल पास में माता-पिता या संरक्षक को सम्मिलित किया जा सकता है। यदि साथ जाने वाला संरक्षक न होकर परिचर हो, तो उसे केवल द्वितीय श्रेणी पास दिया जाता है।

A separate pass may be issued for the return journey of the parent, guardian or paid nurse to the station from which the journey started, in the class to which they are entitled. If the guardian is an attendant only, a Second Class pass is issued.माता-पिता, संरक्षक या वेतनभोगी नर्स की उस स्टेशन तक वापसी यात्रा के लिए अलग पास जारी किया जा सकता है जहाँ से यात्रा शुरू हुई थी, उनकी पात्रता की श्रेणी में। यदि संरक्षक केवल परिचारक हो, तो द्वितीय श्रेणी का पास जारी होता है।

A school pass may be issued to a place OTHER than either parent's residence, provided the length of that journey does not exceed the distance between the college and the parent's residence. The concession cannot be used to buy a longer journey.स्कूल पास माता-पिता के निवास के अतिरिक्त किसी अन्य स्थान को भी जारी हो सकता है, बशर्ते उस यात्रा की लंबाई महाविद्यालय और माता-पिता के निवास के बीच की दूरी से अधिक न हो। इस रियायत से लंबी यात्रा नहीं खरीदी जा सकती।
