THE DIVISIONAL, DEPOT AND WORKSHOP STEPमंडल, डिपो और कारखाना वाली सीढ़ी

At the lowest step, three bodies sit side by side, and each has its own pair of officers.

• CHAIRMAN: DRM at a division, Dy. CMM at a store depot, CWM at a workshop
• SECRETARY: Sr. DPO, SPO or APO respectively
• Matters discussed are those within the POWERS of that chairman

The subject agenda must be circulated ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE. Items outside the agenda may also be discussed with the permission of the chairman, and the chairman may himself raise any item outside it. So the pair you name in an answer depends on whether the question puts you in a division, a depot or a workshop.सबसे नीचे की सीढ़ी पर तीन निकाय साथ-साथ बैठते हैं, और हर एक के अपने दो अधिकारी हैं।

• अध्यक्ष: मंडल में डीआरएम, भंडार डिपो में उप मुख्य सामग्री प्रबंधक, कारखाने में मुख्य कारखाना प्रबंधक
• सचिव: क्रमशः वरिष्ठ मंडल कार्मिक अधिकारी, भंडार कार्मिक अधिकारी अथवा सहायक कार्मिक अधिकारी
• चर्चा उन्हीं विषयों पर होती है जो उस अध्यक्ष की शक्तियों में आते हैं

विषय-सूची एक माह पहले भेजी जानी चाहिए। सूची से बाहर के विषय भी अध्यक्ष की अनुमति से चर्चा में आ सकते हैं, और अध्यक्ष स्वयं भी सूची से बाहर का कोई विषय उठा सकता है। अर्थात् उत्तर में आप कौन-सी जोड़ी लिखेंगे, यह इस पर है कि प्रश्न आपको मंडल में रखता है, डिपो में या कारखाने में।

HOW OFTEN THE DIVISIONAL MEETING IS HELDमंडल की बैठक कितनी बार होती है

The two sources put the periodicity differently, and the newer reading is the one the papers use.

• The Combined Book: ONCE IN TWO MONTHS, separately with the representatives of NRMU and CRMS
• The departmental question bank, in a previous-year question: ONCE IN 2 MONTHS at divisional level
• The older guide: once in a MONTH, with the main and review meetings held separately

So answer two months, unless the paper you are sitting quotes the older reading.दोनों स्रोत बैठक की अवधि अलग-अलग रखते हैं, और पेपर नया पाठ काम में लाते हैं।

• कंबाइंड बुक: दो माह में एक बार, एनआरएमयू और सीआरएमएस के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ अलग-अलग
• विभागीय प्रश्न बैंक, विगत वर्ष के प्रश्न में: मंडल स्तर पर 2 माह में एक बार
• पुरानी गाइड: माह में एक बार, जिसमें मुख्य और समीक्षा बैठकें अलग होती हैं

इसलिए दो माह लिखिए, जब तक आपका अपना पेपर पुराना पाठ उद्धृत न करे।

THE ZONAL RAILWAY STEPक्षेत्रीय रेलवे वाली सीढ़ी

At the zonal step the officers rise, and so does the class of business.

• CHAIRMAN: the GENERAL MANAGER
• SECRETARY: the PCPO, whom the older guide calls the Personnel Officer (Labour and Welfare)
• MEETING: once in THREE MONTHS, separately with the representatives of NRMU and CRMS

The matters discussed are those within the powers of the General Manager, or those that COULD NOT BE SETTLED at the divisional level. The question bank asks the same thing in one line. The chairman of PNM at headquarters level is the GM. So if a question says headquarters, you answer with the General Manager.क्षेत्रीय सीढ़ी पर अधिकारी बड़े होते हैं, और काम का दर्जा भी।

• अध्यक्ष: महाप्रबंधक
• सचिव: प्रधान मुख्य कार्मिक अधिकारी, जिन्हें पुरानी गाइड कार्मिक अधिकारी (श्रम एवं कल्याण) कहती है
• बैठक: तीन माह में एक बार, एनआरएमयू और सीआरएमएस के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ अलग-अलग

चर्चा उन विषयों पर होती है जो महाप्रबंधक की शक्तियों में आते हैं, अथवा जो मंडल स्तर पर तय न हो सके। प्रश्न बैंक यही बात एक पंक्ति में पूछता है। मुख्यालय स्तर पर पीएनएम का अध्यक्ष महाप्रबंधक होता है। इसलिए प्रश्न मुख्यालय कहे, तो आप उत्तर में महाप्रबंधक लिखिए।
