THE TWO RATES OF OVERTIMEअधिसमय की दो दरें

Overtime allowance is paid for work beyond your duty hours, and it is paid at two different rates.

• 1.5 TIMES the ordinary rate of pay, for extra duty BETWEEN the limit of rostered hours and statutory hours
• 2 TIMES the ordinary rate of pay, for extra duty BEYOND the limit of statutory hours

So find which of the two limits your extra hours crossed, and the rate follows from that.अधिसमय भत्ता आपकी ड्यूटी के घंटों से आगे के काम पर दिया जाता है, और वह दो अलग दरों पर दिया जाता है।

• रोस्टर के घंटों और सांविधिक घंटों की सीमा के बीच की अतिरिक्त ड्यूटी पर सामान्य वेतन दर का 1.5 गुना
• सांविधिक घंटों की सीमा से आगे की अतिरिक्त ड्यूटी पर सामान्य वेतन दर का 2 गुना

अर्थात् देखिए कि आपके अतिरिक्त घंटों ने इन दो सीमाओं में से कौन-सी पार की, दर उसी से निकलती है।

Two classes of staff are left out of overtime allowance.

• SUPERVISORY staff
• CONFIDENTIAL staff

So the allowance follows the roster you work to. If you set the roster, or sit in the officer's own office, it does not reach you.दो वर्गों के कर्मचारी अधिसमय भत्ते से बाहर हैं।

• पर्यवेक्षी कर्मचारी
• गोपनीय कर्मचारी

अर्थात् भत्ता उसी रोस्टर के पीछे चलता है जिस पर आप काम करते हैं। आप रोस्टर बनाते हों, या अधिकारी के अपने कक्ष में बैठते हों, तो यह आप तक नहीं पहुँचता।

WHAT PAY THE RATE IS WORKED ONदर किस वेतन पर निकलती है

The pay taken for the calculation is not the same for everyone, and this is the hardest card in the chapter.

• Staff under the FACTORIES ACT: pay, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance and the food grain element
• That total is multiplied by the rate and by the number of hours
• Staff under HOER, and in a LOCO SHED or the CARRIAGE AND WAGON shops: all of those EXCEPT house rent allowance
• All OTHER staff: the revised rates of pay and dearness allowance

So the Factories Act man carries house rent allowance into his overtime, and the HOER man does not. So find your own rule first, and only then put your figures into it.गणना के लिए लिया जाने वाला वेतन सबके लिए एक जैसा नहीं है, और इस अध्याय का यही सबसे कठिन कार्ड है।

• कारखाना अधिनियम वाले कर्मचारी: वेतन, महँगाई भत्ता, मकान किराया भत्ता, परिवहन भत्ता तथा खाद्यान्न तत्व
• उस पूरे जोड़ को दर से और घंटों की संख्या से गुणा किया जाता है
• एचओईआर वाले, तथा लोको शेड या सवारी-मालडिब्बा कारखाने वाले कर्मचारी: इन सबमें से मकान किराया भत्ता छोड़कर
• बाकी सभी कर्मचारी: वेतन और महँगाई भत्ते की संशोधित दरें

अर्थात् कारखाना अधिनियम वाला व्यक्ति मकान किराया भत्ता अपने अधिसमय में ले जाता है, और एचओईआर वाला नहीं। इसलिए पहले अपना नियम ढूँढ़िए, और तभी उसमें अपने आँकड़े रखिए।

THE RUNNING STAFF'S GUARANTEEरनिंग स्टाफ की गारंटी

Running staff are paid on the kilometres they run, so a short trip could leave them with very little. The rules answer that with a MINIMUM GUARANTEED distance. Running staff shall be paid at 120 KM for the full stipulated duty hours. So if you are running staff, a short run over full duty hours is still paid as a hundred and twenty kilometres.रनिंग स्टाफ को उनके चलाए किलोमीटर पर भुगतान मिलता है, इसलिए छोटी यात्रा से उन्हें बहुत कम मिल सकता था। नियम इसका उत्तर न्यूनतम गारंटी दूरी से देते हैं। रनिंग स्टाफ को पूरी निर्धारित ड्यूटी अवधि के लिए 120 किलोमीटर की दर से भुगतान किया जाएगा। अर्थात् आप रनिंग स्टाफ हैं, तो पूरी ड्यूटी अवधि की छोटी यात्रा का भुगतान भी एक सौ बीस किलोमीटर के रूप में होता है।
