Children Education Allowance is admissible for the TWO ELDEST SURVIVING children of a railway employee. Read the words carefully — the exam often gives "two children" as a wrong option and "two eldest surviving children" as the right one.बाल शिक्षा भत्ता रेल कर्मचारी की दो ज्येष्ठ जीवित संतानों के लिए देय है। शब्दों को ध्यान से पढ़ें — परीक्षा अक्सर "दो बच्चे" को गलत विकल्प और "दो ज्येष्ठ जीवित संतान" को सही विकल्प के रूप में देती है।

For a Divyang (differently abled) child the reimbursement is DOUBLE the normal rate, that is 100 per cent more than the normal CEA.दिव्यांग बच्चे के लिए प्रतिपूर्ति सामान्य दर से दोगुनी होती है, अर्थात् सामान्य सीईए से 100 प्रतिशत अधिक।

Where both husband and wife are government servants, CEA is admissible to only ONE of them, not both.जहाँ पति और पत्नी दोनों सरकारी सेवक हों, वहाँ सीईए केवल एक को देय है, दोनों को नहीं।

The amount of CEA goes up automatically by 25 per cent every time the rate of Dearness Allowance rises by 50 per cent. No separate order is needed.जब भी महँगाई भत्ते की दर 50 प्रतिशत बढ़ती है, सीईए की राशि स्वतः 25 प्रतिशत बढ़ जाती है। अलग से कोई आदेश आवश्यक नहीं।

CEA is paid whether the child passes or fails in the class. Failing does not stop the allowance.सीईए तब भी दिया जाता है चाहे बच्चा कक्षा में उत्तीर्ण हो या अनुत्तीर्ण। अनुत्तीर्ण होने से भत्ता बंद नहीं होता।

There is NO minimum length of service condition for claiming CEA. A newly appointed railway servant can claim it.सीईए का दावा करने के लिए न्यूनतम सेवा अवधि की कोई शर्त नहीं है। नवनियुक्त रेल सेवक भी इसका दावा कर सकता है।

Claims for tuition fee reimbursement are admitted on the basis of the employee's own declaration together with authenticated documents.शिक्षण शुल्क प्रतिपूर्ति के दावे कर्मचारी की स्वयं की घोषणा तथा प्रमाणित दस्तावेजों के आधार पर स्वीकार किए जाते हैं।
