Transport allowance is a monthly figure, and it turns on your pay level and on the city.

• LEVEL 9 AND ABOVE: RS 7,200 plus DA in the listed cities, RS 3,600 plus DA elsewhere
• LEVELS 3 TO 8: RS 3,600 plus DA in the listed cities, RS 1,800 plus DA elsewhere
• LEVELS 1 TO 2: RS 1,350 plus DA in the listed cities, RS 900 plus DA elsewhere
• LEVELS 1 TO 2 with basic pay above RS 24,200: RS 3,600 plus DA, and RS 1,800 plus DA

The listed cities include Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Patna and several more.परिवहन भत्ता एक मासिक आँकड़ा है, और वह आपके वेतन स्तर तथा शहर पर टिकता है।

सूचीबद्ध शहरों में दिल्ली, कोलकाता, मुंबई, चेन्नई, हैदराबाद, बंगलौर, अहमदाबाद, पुणे, लखनऊ, कानपुर, जयपुर, पटना और कई अन्य आते हैं।

WHEN YOU DO NOT DRAW ITआप इसे कब नहीं पाते

Four situations take the allowance away, in whole or in part.

• Where a GOVERNMENT VEHICLE is provided to you
• On FOREIGN DEPUTATION
• Where you were on leave, tour or training for a FULL CALENDAR MONTH
• During SUSPENSION and DEPUTATION, when it is paid PROPORTIONALLY

One day's attendance in the month is enough to save the allowance for that month.चार स्थितियाँ भत्ता पूरा या आंशिक रूप से ले लेती हैं।

• जहाँ आपको सरकारी वाहन दिया गया हो
• विदेश प्रतिनियुक्ति पर
• जहाँ आप पूरे कैलेंडर माह अवकाश, दौरे या प्रशिक्षण पर रहे हों
• निलंबन और प्रतिनियुक्ति के दौरान, जब यह आनुपातिक रूप से दिया जाता है

माह में एक दिन की उपस्थिति भी उस माह का भत्ता बचा लेती है।

• A DIVYANG employee draws DOUBLE the allowance, but not less than RS 2,250
• A LEVEL 14 officer is given a ONE-TIME OPTION between the allowance and a government vehicle, the allowance being RS 15,750 plus DA
• Transport allowance is TAXABLE, and there is NO restriction on the distance from your home to your office

So the allowance is not a reimbursement of travel. You draw it whether you live next door or across the city.सामान्य दरों के बगल में तीन पाठ बैठे हैं।

• दिव्यांग कर्मचारी दोगुना भत्ता पाता है, पर 2,250 रुपये से कम नहीं
• स्तर 14 के अधिकारी को भत्ते और सरकारी वाहन के बीच एक बार का विकल्प दिया जाता है, जिसमें भत्ता 15,750 रुपये और महँगाई भत्ता है
• परिवहन भत्ता कर-योग्य है, और आपके घर से कार्यालय की दूरी पर कोई रोक नहीं है

अर्थात् यह भत्ता यात्रा की प्रतिपूर्ति नहीं है। आप इसे तब भी पाते हैं जब आप पड़ोस में रहते हों, और तब भी जब शहर के दूसरे छोर पर।
