Enhanced family pension runs for 10 YEARS if the employee dies WHILE IN SERVICE. If death occurs AFTER retirement, it runs for 7 years or until the deceased would have attained the age of 67, whichever is earlier.बढ़ी हुई पारिवारिक पेंशन कर्मचारी की सेवाकाल में मृत्यु होने पर 10 वर्ष तक चलती है। यदि मृत्यु सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद होती है, तो यह 7 वर्ष अथवा मृतक के 67 वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त करने तक, जो भी पहले हो, चलती है।

NORMAL or ORDINARY family pension is 30 per cent of basic pay plus Dearness Relief, subject to a minimum of Rs 9,000 per month and a maximum of Rs 75,000 per month.सामान्य पारिवारिक पेंशन मूल वेतन का 30 प्रतिशत और महँगाई राहत है, न्यूनतम 9,000 रुपये तथा अधिकतम 75,000 रुपये प्रति माह के अधीन।

Eligible members for family pension include the spouse; an unmarried and unemployed SON up to 25 years of age or until he gets employment, whichever is earlier; an unmarried, widowed or divorced DAUGHTER until she has a source of earning; wholly dependent PARENTS; dependent DISABLED SIBLINGS; and a mentally retarded son without any age limit.पारिवारिक पेंशन के पात्र सदस्यों में जीवनसाथी; अविवाहित एवं बेरोजगार पुत्र 25 वर्ष की आयु तक या रोजगार मिलने तक, जो भी पहले हो; अविवाहित, विधवा या तलाकशुदा पुत्री जब तक उसके पास आय का स्रोत न हो; पूर्णतः आश्रित माता-पिता; आश्रित दिव्यांग भाई-बहन; तथा बिना आयु सीमा के मानसिक रूप से मंद पुत्र शामिल हैं।

A CHILDLESS WIDOW continues to get family pension even after remarriage, provided her income from all sources is less than the minimum family pension plus Dearness Relief.निःसंतान विधवा को पुनर्विवाह के बाद भी पारिवारिक पेंशन मिलती रहती है, बशर्ते उसकी सभी स्रोतों से आय न्यूनतम पारिवारिक पेंशन और महँगाई राहत से कम हो।

Where a railway employee goes MISSING, family pension may be granted after 6 MONTHS from the filing of the First Information Report.जहाँ रेल कर्मचारी लापता हो जाए, वहाँ प्रथम सूचना रिपोर्ट दर्ज होने के 6 माह बाद पारिवारिक पेंशन दी जा सकती है।

Family pension CANNOT be commuted. Only the employee's own pension can be commuted.पारिवारिक पेंशन का संराशीकरण नहीं किया जा सकता। केवल कर्मचारी की अपनी पेंशन का संराशीकरण हो सकता है।
