THE SLABS OF AGEआयु के स्लैब

The quantum of pension is increased as a pensioner grows older, and the slabs are asked exactly as they stand.

• Above 80 and below 85 years: 20 PER CENT of basic pension
• Above 85 and below 90 years: 30 PER CENT
• Above 90 and below 95 years: 40 PER CENT
• Above 95 and below 100 years: 50 PER CENT
• 100 YEARS OR MORE: 100 PER CENT of basic pension

So at a hundred your basic pension is doubled, and the increase is worked on the BASIC pension.पेंशनभोगी के बूढ़ा होने के साथ पेंशन का परिमाण बढ़ाया जाता है, और स्लैब ठीक वैसे ही पूछे जाते हैं जैसे वे हैं।

The same slabs apply to FAMILY PENSIONERS as they apply to pensioners. The increase is the same for old age pensioners AND family pensioners. So an aged widow drawing family pension gets the same addition, on the same slabs. So look at the age a question gives you, not at who is drawing the pension.वही स्लैब परिवार पेंशनभोगियों पर भी उसी तरह लागू होते हैं जैसे पेंशनभोगियों पर। यह बढ़ोतरी वृद्ध पेंशनभोगियों और परिवार पेंशनभोगियों, दोनों के लिए समान है। अर्थात् परिवार पेंशन लेती वृद्ध विधवा को भी वही जोड़, उन्हीं स्लैब पर मिलता है। इसलिए प्रश्न आपको जो आयु देता है, उसे देखिए, यह नहीं कि पेंशन कौन ले रहा है।

One figure from this table is asked often. It asks what percentage of additional quantum is admissible to a pensioner in the old pension scheme on achieving 100 YEARS of age. The answer is 100 PER CENT of the revised basic pension.
