Drivers and Guards are running staff, yet you must classify them as Continuous. The Board's 2016 decisions on running staff say their present classification should be maintained.

Three posts appear under two heads, so you must read the question carefully.

• CARETAKERS OF REST HOUSES: EI in the Categories list, and Excluded in the guide
• SALOON ATTENDANTS: EI in the Categories list and the Combined Book
• GATEMEN: 'C' class gatemen are EI. Gatemen at level crossings normally closed to road traffic can be Excluded

The Categories list also names these caretakers, saloon attendants and gatemen as Group D staff the prescribed authority may specify as Excluded. So they are EI unless the prescribed authority has specified them.तीन पद दो शीर्षों में आते हैं, इसलिए आपको प्रश्न ध्यान से पढ़ना होगा।
