OVERTIME RATES
If you are made to work beyond your rostered hours, you are paid overtime for those extra hours.
- Beyond rostered hours, up to the statutory limit: ONE AND A HALF TIMES the ordinary rate of pay
- Beyond the statutory limit: TWICE the ordinary rate of pay

HOW THE HOURLY RATE IS WORKED OUTप्रति घंटा दर कैसे निकलती है
The IRIME slides give two formulas.
- (i) Staff under the averaging principle: period of averaging × 1/30 of monthly ordinary pay, divided by the rostered hours in that period
- (ii) Staff not under it: 1/30 of monthly ordinary pay, divided by the daily rostered hours
