EXCLUDED is the classification for which NO provision is made regarding hours of employment, period of weekly rest, or payment of overtime allowance. Excluded staff simply fall outside the scheme.अपवर्जित वह वर्गीकरण है जिसके लिए नियोजन के घंटे, साप्ताहिक विश्राम अवधि, अथवा ओवरटाइम भत्ते के भुगतान के संबंध में कोई प्रावधान नहीं है। अपवर्जित कर्मचारी इस योजना से बाहर रहते हैं।

Excluded staff are not left without rest. A weekly rest of 48 hours or 24 hours applies to them as shown in the standard hours table — what they do not get is the STATUTORY rest the other three classifications carry.अपवर्जित कर्मचारी विश्राम से वंचित नहीं हैं। मानक घंटे तालिका के अनुसार उन पर 48 घंटे या 24 घंटे का साप्ताहिक विश्राम लागू होता है — जो उन्हें नहीं मिलता वह है शेष तीन वर्गीकरणों वाला वैधानिक विश्राम।

The Excluded category covers all SUPERVISORS; stenographers, confidential assistants and personal assistants; cipher operators; matrons, sisters-in-charge, midwives, lady health visitors, family planning field workers and nurses-cum-midwives; projectionists; railway school teachers; and instructors working in training centres.अपवर्जित श्रेणी में आते हैं सभी पर्यवेक्षक; आशुलिपिक, गोपनीय सहायक और निजी सहायक; सिफर ऑपरेटर; मैट्रन, सिस्टर-इन-चार्ज, दाइयाँ, महिला स्वास्थ्य आगंतुक, परिवार नियोजन क्षेत्र कार्यकर्ता और नर्स-सह-दाई; प्रोजेक्शनिस्ट; रेलवे विद्यालय शिक्षक; तथा प्रशिक्षण केंद्रों में कार्यरत अनुदेशक।

Being Excluded affects ONLY hours, rest and overtime. Leave, passes, pension, allowances and every other entitlement are governed by their own rules and are unaffected.अपवर्जित होने का असर केवल घंटों, विश्राम और ओवरटाइम पर पड़ता है। अवकाश, पास, पेंशन, भत्ते तथा हर अन्य हक अपने-अपने नियमों से शासित होते हैं और अप्रभावित रहते हैं।

A SUPERVISOR is excluded by virtue of the post itself, whatever the volume of work. The reason is that supervision cannot be measured in periods of action and inaction the way an operating duty can.पर्यवेक्षक स्वयं पद के कारण अपवर्जित होता है, कार्य की मात्रा चाहे जो हो। कारण यह कि पर्यवेक्षण को कार्य और निष्क्रियता की अवधियों में उस तरह नहीं मापा जा सकता जैसे परिचालन ड्यूटी को।

Because no hours of employment are prescribed for Excluded staff, the question of exceeding rostered or statutory hours never arises — and so no overtime is admissible to them.चूँकि अपवर्जित कर्मचारियों के लिए नियोजन के घंटे निर्धारित ही नहीं हैं, इसलिए रोस्टर या वैधानिक घंटे पार करने का प्रश्न ही नहीं उठता — और इसलिए उन्हें कोई ओवरटाइम देय नहीं है।
