HOW MANY BOARDS, AND WHAT THEY DOकितने बोर्ड, और वे क्या करते हैं

There are 21 RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARDS in all. Their function is set out in three acts.

• To ALLOT the roll number
• To SEND the call letter
• To CONDUCT the examination

• THE RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELLLEVEL 1 posts are filled by the zonal RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL, not by an RRB. Exams have expected the Cell to be headed by a Dy CPO as chairman, under the direct control of the PCPO. So a Board runs the examination, and it is the Railway that appoints you afterwards.

कुल 21 रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड हैं। उनका कार्य तीन कामों में रखा गया है।

• परीक्षा आयोजित करना

• रेलवे भर्ती प्रकोष्ठस्तर 1 के पद आंचलिक रेलवे भर्ती प्रकोष्ठ भरता है, किसी रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड से नहीं। परीक्षाओं ने अपेक्षित किया है कि प्रकोष्ठ का अध्यक्ष एक उप मुख्य कार्मिक अधिकारी हो, जो प्रमुख मुख्य कार्मिक अधिकारी के सीधे नियंत्रण में काम करे। अर्थात् बोर्ड परीक्षा चलाता है, और उसके बाद नियुक्ति रेलवे करती है।

THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR TWO POSTSदो पदों की अर्हताएँ

The minimum qualification for two posts is asked as a pair.

• JUNIOR ENGINEER: a 3 YEARS DIPLOMA
• SENIOR SECTION ENGINEER: a 4 YEARS DEGREE from a recognised university

For a Junior Engineer the minimum MEDICAL CATEGORY required is C1. So three years of diploma and category C1 go together for the Junior Engineer. So check the qualification and the medical category together before you apply.दो पदों की न्यूनतम अर्हता जोड़ी के रूप में पूछी जाती है।

• कनिष्ठ अभियंता: 3 वर्ष का डिप्लोमा
• वरिष्ठ अनुभाग अभियंता: किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से 4 वर्ष की डिग्री

कनिष्ठ अभियंता के लिए न्यूनतम आवश्यक चिकित्सा कोटि सी1 है। अर्थात् कनिष्ठ अभियंता के लिए तीन वर्ष का डिप्लोमा और कोटि सी1 साथ चलते हैं। इसलिए आवेदन करने से पहले अर्हता और चिकित्सा कोटि, दोनों साथ देख लीजिए।

THE TRAINING AFTER SELECTIONचयन के बाद का प्रशिक्षण

A Junior Engineer recruited through an RRB goes through a prescribed training. That training runs for 12 MONTHS. So selection is not the end of the process. A year of training stands between the result and regular work.आरआरबी से भर्ती कनिष्ठ अभियंता एक निर्धारित प्रशिक्षण से गुजरता है। वह प्रशिक्षण 12 माह चलता है। अर्थात् चयन प्रक्रिया का अंत नहीं है। परिणाम और नियमित काम के बीच एक वर्ष का प्रशिक्षण खड़ा है।

THE APTITUDE TEST FOR SAFETY POSTSसंरक्षा पदों के लिए अभिक्षमता परीक्षा

An APTITUDE TEST, also called the psychology test, is conducted during recruitment for SAFETY-CRITICAL operational posts.

• ASSISTANT STATION MASTER and STATION MASTER
• TRAFFIC ASSISTANT
• ASSISTANT LOCO PILOT
• MOTORMAN

The computer-based aptitude test modules for ASMs and ALPs are developed by RDSO's Psycho-Technical Directorate. So if the post is one where a lapse can hurt a train, the Railway tests more than your knowledge.अभिक्षमता परीक्षा, जिसे मनोवैज्ञानिक परीक्षा भी कहते हैं, संरक्षा से जुड़े परिचालन पदों की भर्ती में ली जाती है।

• सहायक स्टेशन मास्टर और स्टेशन मास्टर
• यातायात सहायक
• सहायक लोको पायलट
• मोटरमैन

सहायक स्टेशन मास्टर और सहायक लोको पायलट के कंप्यूटर आधारित अभिरुचि परीक्षण मॉड्यूल आरडीएसओ का मनो-तकनीकी निदेशालय विकसित करता है। अर्थात् जिस पद पर चूक किसी गाड़ी को नुकसान पहुँचा सकती है, वहाँ रेलवे आपके ज्ञान से अधिक जाँचती है।
