HRMS stands for Human Resource Management System. Withdrawal from Provident Fund, leave sanction, issue of Pass and PTO, transfer applications, self-nomination for railway week awards and cadre management are all done through HRMS, and the APAR of all Group C railway employees is presently dealt with here.एचआरएमएस का अर्थ है मानव संसाधन प्रबंधन प्रणाली। भविष्य निधि से निकासी, अवकाश स्वीकृति, पास और पीटीओ जारी करना, स्थानांतरण आवेदन, रेल सप्ताह पुरस्कारों हेतु स्व-नामांकन और संवर्ग प्रबंधन सभी एचआरएमएस के माध्यम से होते हैं, और सभी समूह 'ग' रेल कर्मचारियों की एपीएआर वर्तमान में यहीं संभाली जाती है।

RESS stands for Railway Employee Self Service. It contains salary details, income tax details and provident fund details. Leave details are NOT available on RESS.आरईएसएस का अर्थ है रेलवे कर्मचारी स्व-सेवा। इसमें वेतन विवरण, आयकर विवरण और भविष्य निधि विवरण होते हैं। अवकाश विवरण आरईएसएस पर उपलब्ध नहीं है।

IPAS stands for Integrated Payroll and Accounting System. It is used by the Accounts department for passing of bills and covers salary, final settlement and allowances. It does NOT cover D&AR matters.आईपीएएस का अर्थ है एकीकृत वेतन एवं लेखा प्रणाली। इसका प्रयोग लेखा विभाग बिल पारित करने के लिए करता है और यह वेतन, अंतिम निपटान तथा भत्तों को कवर करता है। यह डी एंड एआर मामलों को कवर नहीं करता।

ARPAN stands for Advanced Railway Pension Access Network. It deals with the pension of railway employees and was created for airing suggestions and grievances by railway pensioners and solving pension related issues.अर्पण का अर्थ है एडवांस्ड रेलवे पेंशन एक्सेस नेटवर्क। यह रेल कर्मचारियों की पेंशन से संबंधित है और रेल पेंशनभोगियों द्वारा सुझाव एवं शिकायतें रखने तथा पेंशन संबंधी मुद्दों के समाधान हेतु बनाया गया।

UMID stands for Unique Medical Identification — a digital medical identity card. HMIS, the Hospital Management Information System, was developed by C-DAC and covers electronic medical records, e-pharmacy, online sick and fit certificates, e-referral and digital prescriptions.यूएमआईडी का अर्थ है यूनीक मेडिकल आइडेंटिफिकेशन — एक डिजिटल चिकित्सा पहचान पत्र। एचएमआईएस, अस्पताल प्रबंधन सूचना प्रणाली, सी-डैक द्वारा विकसित है और इसमें इलेक्ट्रॉनिक चिकित्सा अभिलेख, ई-फार्मेसी, ऑनलाइन बीमार एवं स्वस्थ प्रमाणपत्र, ई-रेफरल और डिजिटल पर्चे शामिल हैं।
