TIER-I IS MANDATORYटियर-I अनिवार्य है

The Tier-I account is MANDATORY for every subscriber. It is the account your monthly contribution and the Government's contribution go into. Everything else in this chapter — the partial withdrawal, the annuity, the lump sum — is worked out on what stands in Tier-I.टियर-I खाता हर अभिदाता के लिए अनिवार्य है। आपका मासिक अंशदान और सरकार का अंशदान, दोनों इसी खाते में जाते हैं। इस अध्याय की बाकी हर बात — आंशिक निकासी, वार्षिकी, एकमुश्त राशि — उसी पर निकलती है जो टियर-I में जमा है।

The pension wealth is not kept idle. It is invested, and the shares are fixed.

• At least 85 PER CENT in DEBT instruments
• Up to 15 PER CENT in EQUITY and equity-linked mutual funds

TIER-I OPENS THE DOOR TO TIER-IIटियर-I ही टियर-II का दरवाजा खोलता है

Any subscriber who has an ACTIVE Tier-I account has the option to open another account. That second account is an investment and trading account, and it is called the TIER-II ACCOUNT. So Tier-II is not a separate membership. It stands on your Tier-I account.जिस अभिदाता का टियर-I खाता सक्रिय है, उसे एक और खाता खोलने का विकल्प है। वह दूसरा खाता निवेश और व्यापार का खाता है, और उसे टियर-II खाता कहते हैं। अर्थात् टियर-II कोई अलग सदस्यता नहीं है। वह आपके टियर-I खाते पर टिका है।
