The head of an office obtains all other stores by INDENT ON THE CONTROLLER OF STORES of the railway.

• The exception is where the GM permits him to obtain them himself
• Offices not attached to any particular railway are outside this rule

So you indent on the Controller of Stores unless the GM has said otherwise.कार्यालय प्रमुख अन्य सभी भंडार रेल के भंडार नियंत्रक पर माँगपत्र से प्राप्त करता है।

Paras 1030 to 1032 — PRINTING AND BINDINGपैरा 1030 से 1032 — मुद्रण और जिल्दसाजी

• Para 1030
  • Railways do printing and binding at their OWN PRINTING PRESSES
  • If the railway press cannot take the work, a PRIVATE PRESS may do it with the GM's sanction, or his delegate's
  • The DG, RDSO uses a railway or Government of India press
  • If those cannot, he may use private presses with the Chief Controller's approval of the press and rates
• Para 1031Other offices follow the Controller of Printing and Stationery's rules for printing and binding.
• Para 1032Offices whose printing costs up to RS 200 A YEAR use local private presses, charged to contingencies. No single item may exceed RS 50, and the year's total may not exceed Rs 200. So printing goes to the railway's own press first, and you should know the Rs 50 and Rs 200 limits.

• पैरा 1032जिन कार्यालयों का मुद्रण वर्ष में 200 रुपये तक का हो, वे स्थानीय निजी मुद्रणालय लेते हैं, आकस्मिक व्यय में भारित। कोई एक मद 50 रुपये से अधिक नहीं, और वर्ष का कुल 200 रुपये से अधिक नहीं हो सकता। अर्थात् मुद्रण पहले रेल के अपने मुद्रणालय में जाता है, और आप 50 रुपये और 200 रुपये की सीमाएँ जानिए।

• Para 1033
  • The Ministry of Railways' official publications are supplied FREE to railway officers, under the Board's distribution
  • Extra copies come from the Manager of Publications, Delhi, ON PAYMENT
• Para 1034Official publications of a FOREIGN country are procured by the GM through the HIGH COMMISSIONERS or EMBASSIES.
• Para 1035MAPS from the Survey Department follow separate rules issued by the SURVEYOR GENERAL OF INDIA. So you get the Ministry's publications free, and pay only for extra copies.

• पैरा 1033
  • रेल मंत्रालय के सरकारी प्रकाशन बोर्ड के वितरण के अनुसार रेल अधिकारियों को निःशुल्क मिलते हैं
  • अतिरिक्त प्रतियाँ प्रकाशन प्रबंधक, दिल्ली से भुगतान पर मिलती हैं
• पैरा 1034किसी विदेशी देश के सरकारी प्रकाशन महाप्रबंधक उच्चायोगों या दूतावासों के माध्यम से प्राप्त करता है।
• पैरा 1035सर्वेक्षण विभाग के मानचित्र भारत के महासर्वेक्षक के अलग नियमों से चलते हैं। अर्थात् मंत्रालय के प्रकाशन आपको निःशुल्क मिलते हैं, और आप केवल अतिरिक्त प्रतियों का भुगतान करते हैं।

Paras 1036 to 1039 — NON-OFFICIAL PUBLICATIONSपैरा 1036 से 1039 — गैर-सरकारी प्रकाशन

• Para 1036Books, newspapers and periodicals are never bought at public expense without the GM's PREVIOUS SANCTION.
• Para 1037The GM, or his delegates, arrange supplies DIRECT with the agent or publisher.
• Para 1038The sanction goes to the ACCOUNTS OFFICER, who checks the charges like other recurring contingent expenditure.
• Para 1039Payment in the UNITED KINGDOM for supplies from abroad is made through the HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR INDIA. So a newspaper subscription needs the GM's sanction, and you should send that sanction to Accounts.

• पैरा 1036पुस्तकें, समाचार पत्र और पत्रिकाएँ महाप्रबंधक की पूर्व स्वीकृति के बिना कभी सरकारी खर्च पर नहीं खरीदी जातीं।
• पैरा 1037महाप्रबंधक, या उसके प्रतिनिधि, एजेंट या प्रकाशक से सीधे आपूर्ति की व्यवस्था करते हैं।
• पैरा 1038स्वीकृति लेखा अधिकारी को जाती है, जो प्रभारों को अन्य आवर्ती आकस्मिक व्यय की तरह जाँचता है।
• पैरा 1039विदेश से आपूर्ति का यूनाइटेड किंगडम में भुगतान भारत के उच्चायुक्त के माध्यम से होता है। अर्थात् समाचार पत्र की सदस्यता को महाप्रबंधक की स्वीकृति चाहिए, और आप वह स्वीकृति लेखा को भेजिए।
